That would be a wonderful idea if someone could compile a cyclist's slang dictionary. He are a few to start with which are still being used and were in common usage prior to 1939: Clanger = Chainring Rat-trap = Racing Pedal Oil = Car; Oil-up is shouted when a car is coming up behind the group. Drum up; To brew up tea on the side of the road, this harks back to the days when Primus stoves were carried on a clip under the cross bar. The rhyming slang is Raleigh Bike and I am not going there.
