Peter,

I completely concur - having received my copy this week. For me it was a pre-Christmas present (from my wife and sister to celebrate my recent PhD graduation). As I told Jan, this is a gorgeous book, a joy to look at, and one to delve into for years to come.

I also mentioned that it would be fun to produce a similar "Golden Age" British bike book - not really a bandwagon thing but just something which would interest me (an one I would gladly take on). I would imagine the Italophiles may also enjoy a similar tome highlighting the golden age of their own favourite bikes.

Best of the season,

Paul
