Both Herse and I'm positive Singer as well jumped on the bandwagon and produced Cyclomoteurs after the war and up to the early 50s? so the motor has little to do with how well a machines crafted. Granted the ones I've seen pictures of were not tandems. This does look though like an aftermarket bolt on job.

it looks like a really well crafted touring tandem. but with a motor? perhaps the motor was an add-on after the bike was complete? or maybe it is a really just a touring tandem moped. it looks beautiful though, especially that front wheel/head tube/fender/rack shot. any body know what this might be?
