In the late 30's advertisements showed FB hubs fitted with Campagnolo quick release hollow axles and skewers. So no crime at all in sticking with the hollow axles. If an early GS rear is used, then perhaps the coveted Open "c" skewer is appropriate, but otherwise a tyipcal flat Campy skewer shouldn't get you in trouble with the period correct police.

\r?\n> Sport or Record derailleurs and hubs that required wingnuts (i.e., like my large

\r?\n> Hurets that I spent too much for on Ebay, and none are able to clear the upper

\r?\n> wingnut that might work?
