UPS has lots of surcharges. This could be the reason for the $26 increase. $10 for a residential address, a fee for a residential pickup request, a surcharge for an oversize box, etc. If you spell the name or address incorrectly, or have the wrong zip code, UPS will 'fix' it for you, then charge you 10 bucks for that 'service'. UPS now ships very little of our packages these days, its mostly private carriers and Cal Overnight for small packages. And the US Mail.
