Davis was eventually absorbed into the Huffman group, makers of Huffy and other .... brands.

Carillon Park in Dayton has a lovely ~1898 triplet, bought years ago from me and lovingly restored by two gentlemen near Dayton. They were kind enough to send me a picture of the beauty. I haven't found a picture on their web site yet, but the bike is on display. As I recall, it is 23-23-23, 96" gear, fully lugged with 1-3/8" tubes, and forged steel cotterless cranks.
