Subject: [CR]Nisi Evian rims? Another 120mm vs. 126mm question...

Howdy folks.

I hope everybody had a nice Christmas :^) I got a wheelset for my hope-to-get-it-together-soon Silk Hope a month or so ago. The rear hub is 126mm and it turns out I need 120mm. I have no issue with redishing the wheel, and it seems like there is a lot of space between the edge of the smallest cog and outer end of the locknut. Does the entire 6mm come off of the freewheel side (that would be best for wheel strength)?

Now a rim question. My wheelset has 126mm spaced Record high flange hubs that are post-CPSC and the rims are Nisi Evian. A quick Google didn't turn up much, but the rims appear to be significantly older than the hubs. Anybody know anything about them?

Thanks!
