Subject: [CR]Color matching (Italvega)

Hi, I agree with Harvey Sachs: "(4) Most of us care much more about matching appearance of the original. To me, that means good color match, proper thickness, and the right gloss."

And to that end can anyone help me with a color match to my 1972 Italvega SuperSpeciale that I am rebuilding - I'm told that the SuperSpeciales were painted in a metallic brown "rootbeer" color which I would like to match. The only thing I have is a couple of computer color printouts from bike pictures on the net. If anyone has such a bike that could run it by a paint shop that does computer matching I would appreciate it. Or if someone has a different suggestion, I would appreciate the suggestion too. Thanks.
