Subject: [CR]BW hubs sprockets

Following on from Neil's interesting history ,I refer to his paragraph on his ,couple general points. He was correct I have always used any fixed sprockets to hand no matter whether pointed or flat topped and they have always worked perfectly .Mine being a three speed model does limit the range somewhat but as I only use about one gear of the selection when out it is sufficient.

Only today I put my winter larger cogs on they being a mixture of both and after road test came up trumps once again as on previous occasions. The remarks made by some mentioned these hubs were rather heavy but when compares them with the later 6/7 blocks affixed to a hub I do'nt think it makes much difference.

Oh! well sort em' out
