all i can say is that i recently powder coated my gios pro frame by a company that PC's many frames for many builders around here. the job was well done, but the thickness really was more then i anticipated and i even asked for less layers then they usually do. gios lugs are not ornate but they are now much less 'defined' and some of the pantographing on the headtube and seatstays are almost completely unreadable because they are so filled in.
