Amigos, Please bear in mind that, although the bicycles used in the "Little 500" are hardly lightweights, they are authentic racing bicycles simply by virtue of their use in an authentic (and highly competative) bicycle race. How much does one weight anyway? In spirit - and perhaps in construction, as well - they are not so different than the bikes used in the Tour de France during the years when everyone had to ride the same, promoter supplied bicycle. Cheers, Fred Rednor - Arlington, Virginia (USA)
