Mark Hoffman posted a link to Ebay item 7161715700, which is an old Simplex spare parts case. While Mark described it as sorta cool, I beg to differ. It is really, really cool. But that's not why I'm posting. I'm posting to ask if anyone knows anything about this item. I recall hearing that back in the days of the legendary Campy vs. Simplex rivalry, Simplex supplied a big box of spares to every race team... or was it every dealer? Anyway, is this one of those boxes? Some of the stuff in there looks like 1960's or 70's (plastic parts) but I'm wondering if the box might date back to late 40s or early 50's? I suspect that Allvitluxe knows what he's bidding on, but I sure don't.
