I was the lucky bidder of the incredibly beat light blue Bertin a while back on ebay. The seller had said that only local pick up but I dropped a line and he was willing to drop it off at a shop and arrange shipping. So, 40 bucks in boxing later (R and A cycles tucson...never I repeat never ever have them box a bike...wheels of and dropped in a box, no blocks in the ends, qr's off, padding on teh frame. AHAHAHAHAHAH) A few parts where lost along thte way. mafac 2000 straddle cable, stem handlebar binder bolt for the milremo stem are the most problematic. Does any one out there have either?
Also, I wonder if there have been any Andre Bertin decal sightings. If not I am going to ttry and make my own, I have done alright (not great) in the past and I am getting better and faster.
Last, I don't have a puller for the TA cranks, my park and stronglight don't fit. Any portlandites know of a shop with one? Thanks alot
