Thanks for all the information. Nigel, how much did you pay for the frame you bought on Ebay? Just wanting to get a feel. I'm afraid I don't have any more information myself - all I know I learned from the CR archives last week, but I think your post will help the guy with the Used Bike Register!
I've been without a road bike altogether since I foolishly left that Clements in Northumberland, but yesterday I bought a Nigel Dean frame on ebay, which I'm going to build into a fixed gear, as soon as I can find the parts at sensible prices. At 22 1/2 inches it's a little small for me at 6'3, but I'm sure a nice long seat post and a nice long stem will just contribute to that classic track look.
