I am so glad that Jon Williams called Garth Libre on his pathetic series of sour and scurrilous accusations towards Lance Armstrong and drug usage. I must ask where the obviously omniscient Mr. Libre gets his proof of said accusations ? As the race leader Lance has had to submit to mandatory drug testing after every stage, and he has been subject to many surprise tests throughout the season over the years . . . AND . . . NOTHING ! Lance has come through as clean as a whistle and to cast doubt without as much of a scintilla of proof just underscores what a total mo-ron Mr. Libre is.

Additionally, Garth's self-hatred as evidenced by his" Lance is an American, but
>>instead of pride, I feel shame... Shame for the kind of world that we
>>have created." just turns my stomach. I am shedding great big crocodile tears for you, Garth. It is a pity that someone as "sensitive" and "thoughtful" as you has to go through life with that sense of shame hanging over you.

I too am saddened. I am saddened that I happen to have read many of your postings over the past few months. Usually when I see your name on the header I try and pass the posting because I know that something terrible is lurking inside. Unfortunately, a few times I have ventured into them and found a sour, cheap, and ignorant person whose lack of intelligence is underscored by his willingness to voice his opinion on so many topics that he shows a true ignorance of.

Finally, the "everything was better in the old days" sentiment is more empty "posturing" at its worst. That kind of ridiculous attitude is what causes less-experienced riders to write off all of us "older" riders as a bunch of boring old farts. In this case though, Garth, you truly do qualify. In the future please just let us speculate on your stupidity, don't open your mouth and prove it.

Now I can relax and go take my meds that I got from Ted E. Baer, and go back to Ebay,
