Started gluing my new tubulars. Applied nice even coat to rims, no problem. Malfunction came when brain told finger that all the tan part must get glue instead of just the center strip where the base tape is. What to do? I don't want to clean glue off with solvent having ruined a set of tires cleaning rims with solvents. Can I coat over top of glue coated sidewalls with liquid latex? Will it stick to glue? Road dirt and everything will stick to sidewalls as they are now right? Thanks.
