Eddie,

Thanks! I was going to ask JB since he has a known original from 1973. The bike you are citing is probably a '73 then. I have a "69 no bottles, a '70 no bottles, a '72 with no bottles, and a '74 with bottles. So that only leaves '73 for my personal reference. Obviously I need a '73. So is your friend's bike MY size, and how much does he want for it? ;-)

Thanks for nailing that down. I feel better knowing '73 is correct with bo WB mounts on Colnago, otherwise it had me thinking it may have been '74 for the introduction and the frame was late '73, which clearly it isn't. Late '72 construction in the graphics of the '73 model year. Means the bike is a very early example of that model year, just like a car would be. You can buy a 2006 car in 2005.

Brian,
I have a friend in Canada who has a Colnago Super bought in 72-73.
It is a one owner bike so the provenance is certain. It is painted the color of your Colnago replica you brought to the Cirque this year. It is fully pantographed down to to rims. More to the point, it has down tube water bottle braze on bosses. Edward Albert Chappaqua, NY
