I bought my Cinelli SC from Spence Wolf in '63. He imported the frames and would build them up any way you wanted. I know a lot of bikes left his shop with TA cranks, for obvious reasons, and Mafac brakes.
My Cinelli left his shop all Campy, no brakes back then, and Mafac top 63 brakes and a Brooks saddle. $239.00 out the door with a peanut butter wrench, a 5MM alan wrench and the little black spanner for the backside chain ring bolts thrown in free.
