As the moderator of the tiny little Yahoo Group "TI Raleigh Team Pros" I hate to break it to you all: Zoetemelk won the 1980 TdF 25 years ago last month riding a Raleigh. A 1980 TI Raleigh Team Professional, 753 tubing,
Campagnolo Super Record components, etc. etc. Built at Ilkeston, Derbyshire, ENGLAND. We had a very minor celebration of this since this was the one and only time a British marque won the TdF. Oh and a Peugeot PY- 10 (?) was second that year, ridden by another Dutchman, Hennie Kuiper, ex- TI Raleigh, riding for Peugeot. So my kind of Tour!
