Anyone have any information of Duarte bicycles?

I checked the archives and found the following information dated 1-17-2002: 'Duarte: Columbia. Custom. Known to have used Columbus tubing.'

There is a 48cm Duarte on Craigslist here in the Bay Area. You can check it out here: http://www.craigslist.org/sby/bik/95210813.html

So is Duarte a division of the Columbia Bicycles (the ones that use to plague the department stores?) Or is Duarte a bicycle made in Columbia, South America?
