Subject: [CR]Matching car for your 50's Italian bike

I have received quite a few notes from CR list members about the auction of my Fiat 500C Topolino on ebay.

http://ebay.com/<blah>

The car was part of an interesting outing that I had with Lou Deeter visiting the Kopps bicycle shop in Princeton: http://search.bikelist.org/getmsg.asp?Filename=classicrendezvous.10209.1378.eml

Ever since returning to the US, whenever I have displayed the car in shows, I have always displayed one of my vintage Italian bikes alongside the car. It has been my experience that the bikes often attract as much interest among the show attendees as most of the cars. Most of the time, I will display my 1952 Benotto Cambio Corsa, seeing that they are cross-town relatives from Torino, with less than 2 years age difference between them.

If a CR listmember were to win the auction, I would be happy to add in a partially built 1950's Italian bike as a bonus (either the yellow Romani or the blue Giuffredi that you can see here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/January_2005_lot.)
