Claud Butler badge, I have three of them, attached to 1937. 1938 and 1960 Clauds, the 60 is a built by Holdsworth per Norman, Now, I have just aquired from Ebay a Vittoria Frame#118045 seller claimed its a 1950s vintage, can anyone
help on this, EBay item#7179351016. The finish caught my eye, Red with Chrome lugs etc, PLUS internal rear brake and rear gear cable guides, it also has a right side braze on for the rear gear shifter, I guess they would use a rod
front shifter for the front if a double chainwheel was used, SO is it a 50s vintage?? the frame is not light, but the red paint that I THINK is original is still allmost perfect!!! has a metal badge still with the original rivets, the transfers on the down tube show Vittoria with Olympic rings??? There is also another similar frame for bid on Ebay but with only the rear brake cable routed in the tube, the lugs are the same as the frame I have and the seat tube clip is the same, could that also be a Vittoria??? all I need now is to replace my British racing green Porsche with a Red Ferrari!!!
