Major Nicols died 3/8/05, aged 89. He followed his Father into the cycling trade and made frames from 1950 to 1980's. These were worshipped and treasured by all cyclist's and especially Black Country clubmen. He was in the Royal during WW11 and was a weapon controller on his ship. Due to his expertise at this task it led to the successful depth charging and surrender of a German U-boat from which the Enigma code book and machine was obtained.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
