I believe this is a "753 Special" model from the early 80's. Serial number is 14284 if that will help narrow it down.
The frame has been built up and ridden maybe a 100 miles at most. It's absolutely like new. Aside from a couple of very minor paint chips on the drive chainstay and a tire rub chip on the inside of the non-drive chainstay the frame is near perfect. Of course there's paint scuffed from the drop-outs and shifter bosses. But when built up this will look like a brand new bike. Paint and decals are beautiful.
This is a very sexy Reynolds 753 tubed full racing frame. Total weight for the frame and fork is only 5 lbs. 1.5 oz.! The lime green metallic paint is way groovy.
Specs are as follows:
Seat tube 56cm center to center, top tube 56 center to center, standover height 32 1/4 inches (measured with 700x28 tires), chainstay 41cm (with some room either way), wheelbase 99cm (with some room either way).
Seat post 27.0, BB Cinelli English 68mm, Steerer 1x24 English, rear spacing 126mm, brakes-nutted, braze-ons: TT brake cable guides, DT shifter bosses, 1 H20 cage bosses, chain-hanger, under BB cable guides, dropouts-Campagnolo.
Asking $600 shipped (lower 48). I can install an excellent used Record BB for an additional $50, and/or an excellent used NR headset for an additional $40.
