Subject: [CR]My 2 cents about the Sultan

i've never had a transaction with him. recently i spotted one of his auctions where his description said that he wasn't sure about the model of the item, so i wrote to him telling him what it was. i did not indicate that i was interested in buying the item, it was just an f.y.i. message from me. within 24 hours he wrote back to thank me for the info. this leads me to believe that spam filtering may be to blame for many or all of his unanswered emails. it just doesn't make sense that he would take the time to thank me, but not respond to some of his potential buyers. i've gotten into the habit of checking my bulk/spam mail folder for messages from ebay buyers - i often find some in there, and i'm sure i don't get anywhere near as many messages from buyers as he does. jay, tell the sultan he may want to look into that.
