P.C. Thanks for bringing this up, as it gives me an idea.

If I can't sell the frame for her at a decent price, I could put on some 26 x 1-3/8" rims and smallish tires, to get the TT low enough for me. I like low BBs and short cranks so ground clearance wouldn't be an issue. Brake reach might be a problem, but I could always make drop bolts. BTW it now has early Weinmann 999s.

I doubt the Simplex cranks are original. (52/49 rings, though a front derailleur had never been fitted)

The shifter braze on had been sawn off, which is a real bummer as I have the Cyclo Benelux shifter.

BTW This frame was part of the collection of the late Dean Carr, who some of you knew. I'm selling it for Sue, who would have been his widow if they'd ever "Made it legal".
