Gents, I'll have a look at my 1935-40 Raleigh catalogues on this one. Cl ues to me are 1) coloured peakhead (not found on RRAs to my knowledge), 2) model name is on the bike (see photo no. 8) on the top tube just behind the head lug, 3) chainset and 4) lugs (which do not look like the RRA ones, at

least the later 1930 ones). Chrome forks: these were offered as an optio n to most of the Raleigh club machines of the era not just the RRA. The ot her clue are the wheels. Most RRAs had black enamelled rims, this machine ha s chromed.

But a little sweetie. Pity truly little as these so often are, maxing ou t at a 22" frame size. The pre-war RRA came in a 23" only at the beginning

and end of its production run. Oddly, Rudge lightweights could be had in a greater range of sizes but not Raleigh were one size fits all.
