I figure I'd try my luck on the list, but I doubt anybody has the following: I have a need for a French sized stem and bars. Stem should ideally be an 11 or 10, but could squeak by on a 9. The catch is that the bars need to be 44cm.
Need them for what I think is a '71 PX-10. It has the stock AVA stem which I think is the "death" stem, but I've never been able to find pictures to confirm. Would like to ride the Peugeot more often, but currently don't because of the stem and narrow 38cm bars.
If one doesn't turn up, I'll have to grind something down I suppose. Unless someone knows an inexpensive and fast source for custom stems?
