I too own a Gazelle Champion Mondial bike, although I put the age as early 1980s. It still closely resembles the late 70s bike being discussed on the list (less that wild rear brake bridge), with Prugnat lugs and "GAZELLE" panto fork crown. Truly is a factory "AB" racing frame --- note the braze on number boss on the top tube. Also lucky to have a GAZELLE pantographed Campy component group === what a cool chainring!!!

I fully agree that it rides and HANDLES quite nice --- I have put some of my fastest ride times of the season on this bike, with clincher tires/wheel no less!!!
