Subject: [CR]Frame and decal preservation on an older frame

Among my Hetchins I have a later 30s very rare frame which I've been going round in circles for years as to restore or not. It has been out of cold storage for a few days now and we've discovered a few of the transfers on the frame actually prove the existence of transfer that up until now were only thought to have been produced. A few of the transfer or panels that are on the frame were never known to exist, and possibly only on this frame.

Knowing all of this, I'm leaning heavily on just cleaning and renovating as best possible without re-enameling. The paint is in rough shape as are the transfers, so I'm asking what is the best way to preserve what is left without causing further deterioration.
