Lots of input as to the makers...but I have one unanswered question:

In 1984, La Vie Claire rode on a silver bike with some very small badges (stickers/decals). Does anyone know the brand name of the bikes from 1984? All of my pictures do not have high enough resolution to make out the name. They seem to say BO on them, but that might be way off.

Anyhow, kudos to whoever can give me the answer to this one....

Later on, the Hinault frames seemed to change character quite a bit, so I suspect that another company got the rights to the name.....much in the same way that Eddy Merckx or Coppi frames did...

They rode on "Bernard Hinault" badged frames in 1985 (Greg LeMond's had "Huffy" on his!). In 1986, they rode on Looks, with Reynolds 753. 1984...that is a mystery. I can't make out the name on the tubing....

Who made all of the above? Who knows!?

An y idea who was making these framesets? Saw Hinault at the Worlds in the Springs riding one. I think some were riding Looks but this was made with Reynolds. Thanks..peace
