Subject: [CR]Late '50's derailleurs for stamped dropouts-which?-how?

I have a project in the works which requires a rear derailleur appropriate to a late '50's Jack Taylor Clubman frame with stamped dropouts,no hanger. It has a single brazeon for a downtube shifter, originally Cyclo-Benelux.My question is: Which derailleurs from that period could be used with the stamped dropouts, and without some sort of funky retrofitting? The Gran Sports and Allvits I've seen sometimes include a bolt-on hanger. Are these universal fittings? And would a Simplex shifter from that era have threads compatible with the Cyclo-Benelux shifter boss? Also, when was the Simplex Tour de France discontinued? Many questions...
