I took a look in my top tube cable clip drawer (really) and came up with 6 sets loose, 2 sets undisturbed in the original Campagnolo envelopes and two more sets on bikes.

Hummmmm... I might regret this, but any o youse guys interested in a set for $299.00?"

I believe that you may not have noticed the fine details that differentiate this particular set of clips from virtually all the other sets that you regularly see. Look at the Campagnolo logo and you will see that they have the 'feathers' clearly visible on the wings. You will also see that they have the 'teeth' surronding the q/r center in the logo. Lastly, they have the closed 'C' in the lateral Campagnolo writing. This dates these clips to the mid-late 50's as best as I know. Check out: http://www1.ocn.ne.jp/~campa/newpage29.htm

I would guess these to be the 3rd iteration of Campagnolo TT cable clips. Their rarity could indeed make them worth the requested price to those who want to have truly period-correct full Campagnolo bikes. However, since you could simply use some handlebar tape and tape the cable housing to the TT and be equally period correct, I doubt that the pool of potential buyers is very great. Personally, I would happily use a set of these clips, but I am too cheap to spring for them.
