Hi Folks:
   Kevin Kruger just brought our attention to a neat thing on eBay.For archive searchers of the future,I'll specify that this was a Simplex top tube cable clip with the band neatly perforated with a graduated series of holes from arch to screw.This a tough thing to do in this twangy,tiny sheet metal part.Would have to tighten the clamp on a 26mm bar,and best use a straight fluted drill,after indexing and center punching the band.Best done with an index set on a vertical mill.Gotta be really motivated.
   Believe me,it would be very hectic free-hand.
