Hi, you guys and girls,a cheery message from N. IRELAND. just a short bio on me as a new guy to C.R. William Carton.. willie to friends, 54 y.o. long term partner Trish. who's disabled. First love at 11 y.o. my Raleigh Gran sport. 1963 I currently ride every day, weather permitting about 10/12 miles anything from a Titanium racing bike to a Stella french randonneur, have about 25 machines from 1930 through 1990's Like french stuff and italian circa 60's and 70's derosa, pinarello, lejeune,RBE moser,olmo, gazelle, colnago, peugout etc etc. Just sold my 1948 super special curly 24 inch Hetchins at christmas and a 1953Bates, Rotrax 1956 and1955 Claud. i ride anything from 54 through 58 c/t. Current building a Raleigh 708 tubed randonneur from a nos frameset.I do all my own resto's, have excellent paint contacts in this part of the world and am starting to really surf and sell on ebay .[wilcart ]Trish has a lt/wt trike which Norris Lockley a CR guy and good friend got for her, its a Jack TAYLOR..black 531 i still have not mastered it!! In a former life pre Trish's disablement i was an avid 'car guy', into motorsport, building cars ,tuning ,driving rally cars ,sprint and hill climb cars and am the original VW nut on vw golfs/rabbits i think usa calls them. i still own a lt /weight VW mk 2 Golf but its in storage, you guys think bikes are expensive, but motorsport is like standing on a cold windy track heating your hands with burning £50 pound notes!! best regards, willie c...
