Conti still lists the Sonderklasse 165 & 175. The only difference seems to be that the 175 has a thicker tread for better durability on outdoor tracks. They are intended as track sprint or six-day race tyres.

Paul Medhurst, who rode the European Sixes in the eighties, told me that they used to get their worn out Sonderklasses retreaded with road treads for criteriums.

Until the early 90's Conti also made the Sonderklasse 220, a 25mm road tubular.

If Continental still makes the Sonderklasse tires, they might change your mind. Hand made, scary-light. Perhaps only suitable for track and smooth road time trial, but man are they fine. KOF classics.
