Subject: [CR]Rear spacing: using a 120 rear wheel in a 126 spaced frame

Hi all: The heading says most of it. For reasons having to do with not modifying some nifty short reach calipers I would like to double up my old 76 Paramount 27" wheels which are 120, in the 126 spaced Vent Noir that I am building. The actual measured difference seems more like 4mm or so and the dropouts dont pull in much when I clamp down the QR. My eyeball says they seem to stay parallel. Advice here pro and con would be appreciated. All my other wheels are 700c and the alternatives (dropbolts , filing etc.) also have their drawbacks. Thanks from Patrick Lay in Chicago
