I was actually thinking of CLB brakes since this I've already spec'd Huret

Jubilee, TA chainset.... but were they contemporary to 1971/2? T he nice ones I've seen I think date to the middle of the decade rather than the beginning. These have a neat little CLB logo in the middle of the anchor

bolt.

It was my assumption that when weight mattered for TT oriented machines, sidepulls won out on centerpulls with Weinmann 500 and Universal 68 being about equal in weight.

It is SO much more work when one shys away from the ubiquitous Campy NR Gruppo! But this one will, at least, have a Campy seatpost and hubs...
