In several of my pairs of cycling shoes the leather sole is lifting off the plastic sole completely. I've tried to glue it down again with little success and my small town shoe repair shop is long closed. 70s and early 80 s Dettos, Marrasis, Sidis, Diadoras and Duigis. This happens to NOS shoes tha t I've barely touched. Doesn't seem related to mis-use or too much walking.
Any cobbling expertise you all can share about regluing leather to plastic?
