I am offering for sale to the list this 1988 Rih Special Course frame + fork, in 'signal red'. Although over 17 years old, the frame is in as-new condition. A few scratches, that's all.
This frame is what is called by Rih a 'Sport' frame: designed for touring. It has fairly relaxed angles, and double eyelets on the front fork, for mudguards and a rack presumably. When I called mr. Willem van der Kaay, to inquire about this one, he still could remember building it! Mr. van der Kaay is past 60 years of age now, but still very active, and obviously enjoying his work. Last summer he was working on an order of over 20 frames for South Africa, and he still had time for a chat!
The dimensions of the frame are: seattube 60 cm c-t, toptube 57,5 cm c-c, chainstays 42,5 cm c-c, wheelbase 100,5 cm, headtube 17,2 cm.
Rih was established in 1921, many famous names rode on a Rih: Jan Derksen, Arie van Vliet, Gerrit Schulte, Peter Post, Tiemen Groen, Fedor den Hertog, Gerrie Knetemann, etc. More info about Rih is on the Classic Rendezvous site:

I am asking $ 175 + shipping for the frame and fork, including the Stronglight headset and Shimano bottom bracket (120 mm) that are in the frame. Shipping to the US would cost about $ 65, insured.
