That's interesting, since I also bought a (fully chromed, nice) Pogliaghi frame a few weeks ago from a germen seller. Although it was announced as a 60cm frame which is much to small for me I bought it, because it was so beautiful and a real bargain. When it arrived it turned out to be a 63cm frame, also clearly stamped with a "63". My size! My only explanation is that most people just don't know how to measure a frame. I've seen everything mixed up. C-T, C-C, stand over height, top of the BB to center of top tube...

I recently received a Pogliaghi track frameset and I've posted a few pictures of it here: http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Pogliaghi

Some time ago I agreed to buy this bike from a seller in Germany. It had been listed on German eBay as a 61cm track frameset with a pretty high starting price and it didn't sell. I contacted the seller by email and we agreed on a price. After a long wait, the bike finally arrived, packed very securely, in slightly better condition than I had expected, and . . . 3 cm smaller than it was supposed to be.

Yes, I did see pictures of the bike, but not very good ones; and, being more used to looking at road bikes, I didn't notice that the head tube should have been longer as a result of the track bike's higher bb.

Anyway, it's difficult to be upset with the seller, since I don't think he had much to gain by misreporting the size. I suspect that it might actually be easier to sell a 58cm frameset than a 61cm frameset. But the darn thing is actually stamped "58" on the bb and measures just barely that size to the tip of the point on the seat lug. Difficult to see how _he_ could be confused about the size.
