A 4x lacing pattern is possible with 36H but not 28H or 32H. Even then it was a pattern used on large flange hubs back when the spokes weren't as reliable. I am a heavy rider and used 4x 36H and tied and soldered the wheels to stop spoke breakage in sprints. Still have a road and track set but don't ride them any longer. Good luck
