For those unfamiliar with it, here is the url for Pete Paine's GB website:

http://www.oldcyclebits.co.uk

Very useful for identifying and dating the myriad brakes and there's a small section on the handlebars, too, including a uber useful rundown of all the "bends" available c. mid 1960s. I'd kill for that "Road Champi on" bend which I've never seen before.

And after much indecision, my '71 Harry Quinn is going to be as all Britis h as possible for that late era: Williams AB77 chainset, GB spearpoint stem and Ventoux 'bars and, thanks to Pete's foraging, GB 88 brakes and levers.

Maybe Brampton or Barelli pedals with GB clips. I think I may have to gi ve up trying to find Airlite low-flang q/r hubs in 36-hole so Campag high-flange, NR derailleurs and seat pin. Mavic Monthery rims I think.

Lavender with black seat tube panel and head.
