Our ride in celebration of Ernesto's birthday is on for this SUNDAY. The ride starts at 10am in the parking lot opposite the swimming beach in the Dana Point Marina--at the NORTH end of the marina, by the boat turn-around basin.
Weather is forecast to be sunny and mild.
There will be morning treats, continental-breakfast style, with juice and coffee.
Ride a Colnago if you have one. Any vintage welcome. If you don't have a Colnago, ride whatever you have. Wear colnago duds if you have some. If not, come as you are.
The ride is an easy 35-40 miles or so. Social-paced, no drop ride.
Meet at 9am, ride out at 10. We'll eat lunch at a legendary greasy spoon at the base of Saddleback mountain. Most of the ride is on a very scenic bike-path.
