Hi all,

I am moving and there are some things I would like to get rid of before lugging (pun, haha) them over to the new pad.

1) 1994isch Somec Neuron Frameset - NOS

This was the first frame I bought new. I have had it sitting around for 10 years, waiting for a Croce d'Aune group to ambush it, but that hasn't happened to date. The frame is excuisitely fillet brazed Columbus Neuron tubing (double butted) and has a super paint job. Fork and chainstay with chrome. Frame size is 60.5cm c-c, 62cm c-t. Top tube is 59cm c-c. Wheelbase is a crisp 100.5cm I believe this frame was the top model Somec offered at that time. Somec being renown for top workmanship, this frame shows all of it (http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/somec/ Thanks, Mark!) . The brazing is superbe and gorgeous. On top of that the paintjob is super; orienting itself along the lines of Art Deco the airbrushed wedges are a great touch to the dark green painjob. The Tulip and Stallion logo are prominetly distributed around the frame. The fork and chainstay are panto'd with SOMEC. The cable guide is internal and there is a bz-on fD holder. This frame is super light; the set weighs less than 6lbs. (on my so unprofessional kitchen scale). It is NOS, true, straight. Serial number is NR 37, drop-outs stamped TI 24. There are four small paint chips; three around the seat lug, one near the right d-o. All of these are documented in the pics. Asking price is $750 incl. shipping. I will entertain reasonable offers.

2) 1977 Peugeot PX-10/E Frameset – 50cm

This frame is made completely of Reynolds 531 7/10; main tubes, fork tangs and rear triangle. The fork crown is a Super-Vitus. The lugs are Nervex and the drop-outs are by Simplex with integrated adjuster screws. The derailleur hanger is not threaded. The rear triangle and the fork are chromed. There are braze-ons for a bottle holder (beautiful star design!), cable guides (one above and one below the bottom bracket) and a cable stop for the rear derailleur. Frame size is 50cm c-c, top tube 54.5 cm c-c. The frame number is 7062925. The frame has been repainted a coppery tone and refitted with Peugeot decals and should benefit of a repaint to bring it to it’s original color of Peugeot silver which is still visible on the fork shaft. There is a ding in the chain stay that looks like the chain might have slipped off and got stuck. The chrome is in very good condition front and back! Asking price is $190 + shipping.

3) 1970s Torpado Nuovo Sprint Frameset – 56cm

This is a very nice 70s Torpado frameset. The Nuovo sprint was a middle level set-up, equipped with Nuovo Record (or Gran Sport?) and Modolo Sprint brakes, as the name implies. It is a nice champagne color and has the signature Italvega/Torpado diamond cut-out in the lugs. These look like Prugnat, long style. It has a fully chromed fork. Tubing is Templar World Champion (Tubazione Special). The frame measures as follows: 56cm c-c, top tube 56.5cm c-c The rear drop-out if very finely filed and quite beautiful. The chain stays are very nice and beefy, and the seat stays are bi-conical. The cable guides run above the bottom bracket. Braze-ons include: cable guide top-tube, shifter bosses, bottle holder (dt) and chain stay cable-stop. This has come off, but can be replaced by a clamp-on stop (or rebrazed. I still have it. The frame is true and free from dents. The paint has chips in some places and the decals are cracked in some places. All in all a very nice frame; something which can be built up into a nice commuter. Asking price is $165 + shipping

For any questions, just ask. I hope these find a home in a listmembers hoard.

Best, kim
