Peter, Your frame is not older than 1987 because that is when the 105 groupo with biopace chainrings where introduced. The transfers on the frame indicate that this is how the frame was originally equiped. Hope the info helps, Robert St.Cyr ASUCD Bike Barn Davis, Ca.
