Subject: [CR]Information on Dave Marsh - World Champion in 1922

In my search for information about Maurice Selbach (of the Unity C.C.) I found that he raced on Holly bicycles made by A.J. Hodge and later learned his trade from him.

A fellow named Chris Hewitt wrote a biography about A.J. Hodge. On page 44 there is a photo of Dave Marsh (reproduced from 10 Aug. 1922 issue of Cycling) winning the World Amateur Road Championship (100 mile time trial).

BTW: According to Dave Marsh (a.k.a. Carltonflyer, but no relation)
Dave Marsh (first of Shaftsbury C.C. and later of University C.C.)
had a son and grandson also named Dave Marsh.
