One of the characters (Jackie Pallo) who was employed by Harry Rensch has recently died. His real name was Jack Gutteridge and he and his twin brother both worked at Paris's. His brother Dick was a builder there. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/02/16/db1602.xml Or listen again to the "Last word" programme on Radio 4. Jackie Pallo became a famous wrestler and much later an actor. He appeared with Honor Blackman in the Avengers, she famously hit him causing him to fall on a headstone in a graveyard which rendered him unconscious. He was wonderful at ad-libbing just read and hear for yourselves at the posted links. Paris's under Harry Rensch's ownership must have been a colourful and wonderful place to work in. Be lucky Mick.

Thats all for now. Keep those wheels spinning, in your memories if not still on the road. Be lucky Mick Butler Huntingdon UK.
