Subject: [CR]26" Tubulars?

I have a very nice set of Conloy 26" sprints (tubular) rims laced to Solite hubs that I would like to use on a '48 RRA. The wheels have a good pair of Clement 26" tubulars of uncertain vintage. Anyone know if modern 650 tubulars also fit? I have no spare! The rims are the same OD as 26 x 1 1/4" Dunlop special lightweights. Anyone else have any 26" tubular wheels out there? I expect that they were pretty rare postwar although they were listed as an optional wheelset for the '48 RRA.

Thanks, Paul Raley Leonardtown MD
