I recieved this email from Flash, the Webmaster of http://www.hetchins.org with regard to the Hetchins on Ebay that was being discussed yesterday, by Mick Butler.

Gentlemen,

The relevant page is http://www.hetchins.org/501nulli-01.htm

I'm not certain this is a Nulli and not a SupSp. 1950-51 is the period of overlap between the two models and they cannot be infallibly distinsguished by frame features. The sales ledgers would be the final arbiter on this. I had two reasons for thinking probably Nulli rather than SupSp: more Nullis were made than SupSp (plain statistics), and second, the lugs on H12727 have certain flatness and crispness at the edges which, to my knowledge, is not seen on SupSp. All SupSp looked more rounded at the edges where the lug joins the frame, although some Nullis do, too.

Regards,
Flash
